The Lost Boys - The Tribe

I was so excited to hear they finally made a new Lost Boys movie. Hell, I even remember they mentioned it on an episode of The 2 Coreys where Feldman told Haim "They're making one and they don't want us." Don't ask me why I was watching The 2 Corey's, I think I stumbled across it somehow. OK so on with the movie review.
Feldman did make it into this film, as did Haim but only for about 2 seconds. Feldman is still a vampire hunter and a surfboard shaper. This time instead of dirt bikes the cool thing is surfing. The children of Michael and Starr from the first film just lost Michael and Starr in an auto accident or something like that so they move to some town down south. You see the first film took place in Santa Cruz, this one is more like Venice Beach or something like that. So the guy is a former pro surfer and his sister is a 17 year old girl with her hormones raging. The untalented Sutherland brother stars as the lead vampire in this film. Oh by the way Sex Machine from From Dusk Til Dawn (I forgot the actors name) appears for about a minute. Basically the girl winds up turning into a half vampire and the brother has to save her with the help of Edgar Frog. A lot of this plays out the same as the original.
Pros: Corey Feldman plays a histerical role in this film.
Cons: It's pretty cheesy.
Verdict: If you have some spare time rent it, otherwise ignore it.
